The third epistle of John.
1. Walking in Truth
5-8: It is good to financially support missionaries and evangelists.
9: We need to watch out for Christian teachers who put themselves first.
10: If a Christian teacher is breathing out all sorts of criticism of other Christian teachers, and not showing hospitality to them, and also urging other Christians to break away from other believers, they need to be corrected.
Christians must be irenic, not schismatic. We must love and support other Christians who have differences of opinion from us. Even if they seem heretical on different ideeas, we must not shun them -- as long as they sincerely love God and their neighbor, and do not deny the incarnation or resurrection of Jesus. (Many people disagree with me on this, but I would argue that is the biblical approach. The apostles did not want us to be argumentative and break away from each other.)
